Pair of Art Nouveau candlestick holders by artist Victor Saglier, late XIX century. 
Made of silvertin. Signed. 

Saglier (1809-1894) is known for his Art Nouveau work. His style is typically French Art Nouveau in the language of the École de Nancy. For his work he often drew inspiration from nature, the logic of which helped in the design of both shapes and decorations. The symbol of master silversmith Victor Saglier is a three-masted sailboat with an oval shape, surrounded by the letters V and S in a rectangle".

In good condition, time marks and a little dent on one of the two bobeches.
